Normally on Sunday morning I begin my day by posting for Inspirational Sunday. Which I will do later on today. At this particular moment, I find the need to air my opinion is really pressing within my thoughts.
When did we become such a calloused society? I find myself asking this question as the MSM continues to probe into the situation surrounding Michael Jackson's children.
I don't understand why we feel that just because their father was a celebrity, we have the right to probe into what is going to happen to them? What can we do with the information that is shared? In reality, not one person outside of the Jackson family can honestly know what those three children feel at this moment. Yet, the MSM presses during every interview to find out more and more information about their future.
If we are a people that truly believe that it takes an entire village to raise a child, what manner of responsibility do we have to these children at this time? I feel instead of consuming up every word of speculation and gossip, we need to circle them and protect them from this manner of madness.
What if this were your children? I had to ask myself that question and supply an answer. I would not like for them to go through such an experience. I would hope that my family and friends would do all that they could to sheild them from the pain that this type of intrusion creates.
No matter what we think of Michael as an entertainer or as a person, I have no doubt that their view of him is entirely different. Children love unconditionally. Are we suppose to believe that MJs children are no different? Are we supposed to believe that while we are viewing that latest developments concerning their future custody, the coverage has no impact on them?
I'm a mother. And I know from experience that even when we put out an Wonder Woman sized effort to protect our children there are just times when we cannot. I can only imagine how heavy this must weigh on Katherine's heart. Her son has passed and her grandchildren's privacy is being rudely invaded.
Enough is enough! I hope and pray that after MJs remains are laid to rest that we will get out of their business.

I would agree with this post if it was anyone but Michael Jackson's kids. But there is a question of sincerity of by all parties who want to take care of the kids. If the will leaves everything to the kids or a large portion than it is only natural to give a suspecting eye to all the wannabe "gaurdians" that come up.
Now as far as if they are his biologically or not that doesnt mattter he claimed him and that is no one elses buisness.
Frankly, I don't understand why there is even a question about what will happen to the children. He left a will with instructions. Why is that not enough? MJ may have been a lot of things - but stupid certainly was not one of them. I personally think that there are only 2 people in this whole thing concerned about the money and that's his ex-wife and his father. An from what I understand about his wishes - they get NADA!
