I've got Georgia on my mind this evening. There is a brother by name of Troy Davis who is fighting for his life. He is currently sitting on death row down in Georgia. Troy may very well be innocent of the crime that he has been convicted of committing.

Davis' case has been taken up by Amnesty International. In spite the fact that seven of the nine witnesses have recanted their testimony, he still remains on the schedule to be executed by the state of Georgia.
On May 19th, the international community is coming together to raise awareness about Troy Davis' case. You can help support the effort by visiting Amnesty International. There is a link to a petition and information on how you can take action tomorrow to help bring about justice for this brother.

Thanks for helping to publicize Troy's case! Let's hope that Gov Perdue listens to the outcry.
This is exactly the reason why I am not a supporter of the death sentence.

This is a travesty and hopefully the powers-that-be will put a stop to this insanity, not just in Mr. Davis' case, but in all cases. Thanks for keeping the issue alive!
