The thing here is that who are people mad with D.L. for making the show, or CNN for putting it on?

Because I cant see how Watkins can say he is a fan of Kat Williams (pimps, degrading women), Dave Chappelle (drug culture), Eddie Murphy (homophobia) and have a problem with D.L. talking smack about news when we all knew what his act was like in the first place.

This stuff comes off as sour grapes and envy.

CNN is the wrong venue for the show no doubt but acting like this is the first show that stereotyped black men and women when black owned media does it all the time is disingenuous.

I absolutely agree with Dr.Watkins about the D.L.Hughley show.

I was actually shocked because unlike Dr.Watkins, I've really liked him in the past. D.L.'s comedy usually is "comedic truth", something like Chris Rock.

I think Dr.Watkins hit the note in conclusion. I'm sure D.L. Hugley does not have creative control and at the end of the day for him, it's about "making his paper" or perhaps his ideology is "it's just a joke, man"

But, I agree - therefore I'm not tuning in.
