AM I NOT HUMAN?

On the 27th of each month a group of bloggers post about human rights violations in conjuction with the Am I Not Human? campaign. We post information to help you become aware of the different violations that are occuring nationally and internationally.

This month I wanted to bring your attention to a variety of sites that deal with Human Rights.

The first site I would like for you to consider visiting is:Human Rights Watch. This website has information on different regions of the world. News updates, videos and all sorts of information that will help to keep you abreast of what is happening.

The second site that I am recommending is Know Your Human Rights 2008. This is an interactive site that helps to educate and promote understanding of human rights.

My third site is the Childrens Defense Fund: Read the 2008 report on the state of America's children. See what challenges we face in 2009 to improve the rights of our national youth population.

My fourth recommendation is:Darfur:An Unforgiveable Hell On Earth. This site keeps you updated on what is going on in Darfur and provides you with way to be active in helping to turn this situation around.

My final recommendation is to visit these blogs:
Electronic Village, Sojourner's Place, Lisa C Writes, Living Life Abundantly, Stop Genocide, Jose Vilson, Ultraviolet Underground,

I have been writing about the rights of children. I want to leave you with some food for thought thanks to the Childrens Defense Fund:
