It is Inspirational Sunday. A time to sharing some food for thought for the spirit.
This week I have a diet tip for you:
Feed your faith and starve your doubt!
Keep your spirit nourished with positive thoughts and inspirations during the week. Do some mountain talking and remind whatever you encounter that your GOD IS BIGGER THAN ANYTHING THAT STANDS IN YOUR WAY!
During those moments when it seems that you cannot surpass an obstacle just remember that God can and will work it out for you.
Be still for at least five minutes during your waking hours. That allows you to hear what the Holy Spirit wants to say to you. God is everywhere you go and everywhere that you be. (Okay, I am from the Black Church) Give yourself the opportunity to know what is in store for you. Get yourself some understanding by simply being still and listening to what is scripted on your heart from the word of God.
Starve your doubt by giving up some Praise! When your praises go UP! The Blessings come down!
Do not be afraid to ask for wisdom, guidance and understanding. Ignorance is not bliss! It is a state of mind that allows fear and doubt to breed.
Dear God,
As we go into a new week, thank you for granting us the gift of life. Thanks for keeping watch over us and our loved ones as we move about in this world.
Provide for us Lord. Bless us to have what we need in our lives.
Keep us mindful that we are yours and the feasting table is always prepared to receive us. Feed us and nourish us until we are fully satisfied.
Bless us to be tolerant. Especially when we are confronted with others who are not. Bless the words of our mouth to be acceptable in thy sight.
You have declared in your word that nothing that comes out of your mouth will return back void. We accept this as truth for we know that you do not lie to your daughters or sons. I am asking on behalf of myself, my loved ones and people everywhere, to watch over us, bless us and keep us.
We need a laying on of hands. We need the power of your healing touch in our lives. Touch our minds, bodies, souls and spirits. Repair and restore us and make us whole.
Bless those who mourn on this day. Provide them with the comfort that only you can give. Bless those who have been imprisoned by all manners of jailers. Be their liberating force in this life.
I am trusting and fully believing that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I am asking that you bless me and people everywhere to be guided and directed by your spirit of love and light.
These and all blessings I ask in Jesus name
Amen

A man! and thanks for the reminder. We should always keep a praise on our lips.
"Get yourself some understanding by simply being still and listening to what is scripted on your heart from the word of God."
Amen! Let us remember His word that is hidden in our heart.
