PRAISE GOD FROM WHOM ALL OF OUR BLESSINGS FLOW!
Doing Some Mountain Talking
Encountering obstacles is to be expected in life. When we are not challenged by oppositional forces our spiritual growth becomes stunted.
How many times have you encountered a stormy situation and instead of talking about how BIG your God is, you talk about how big the storm is?
How many times have you encountered a mountain in the way of where you wanted to go, and instead of talking to the mountain, you stall, grumble and complain?
I have had moments in my life when it seemed like the obstacles measured up in Goliath proportions. I am guilty of shrinking back from using the power of my faith in God to move those obstacles.
Instead of professing how BIG my God is, I have sat bemoaning my fate. Complained loudly because I wanted things smoothly along the path of my life. Stared fearfully into the darkness instead of looking at the ever shining light.
My pity parties consist of me as the honored guest. Sitting alone and trying to figure out the easiest way to side step a mountain moment. With my brain steadily gearing up into overload while in pursuit of a solution. Totally frustrated because there is no obvious re-route in sight or solution at hand. And the storm is still wailing and the mountain still stands.
That is the moment when I am reminded that there is a prescription for this type of obtrusion. I call it mountain talking. In the scriptures it is written in this manner:
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place: and it shall remove:and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Matthew 17:20.Speak to the mountain and it will be removed. That requires an act of faith. An unyielding belief that God can and will move the obstacles. Once the necessary lines of communication are opened up our faith gets powered up. The atmosphere begins to change around us. Our thoughts and beliefs open up to receive the necessary fuel to move on God's word. We can step out on faith, without fear or doubt to hinder our forward motion.
So the next time you are standing in a stormy situation remember: Don't talk about how big the storm is, talk about how BIG your God is.
If there are mountains in your life and want them moved~say so!
And remember that God will be there for you. Ready and capable of making that removal a reality!
Be blessed!

Praise God! For truly He reigns on the throne and in the hearts of His servants.
Thank you doesn't cover this on-time message.
I'm in a current situation where the mountain is ahead and everyday I become more anxious. This along with Shae - Shae's link to "Be still and know that I am God" is the spiritual fuel I need to lift me higher to a place of possibility and blessing.
God continue to speak through you!
