I'm Much Obliged!

Much love and thanks to Sojourner's Place for gracing my blog with the Arte y Pico Award! I am appreciate of the support that SjP has provided to me as a blogger.

I tried to post this recently and could not get the icon to upload. But now that it is worked out. I can get on to the business at hand.

The "Arte y Pico" award, you must know that it comes with a few rules. These rules are listed below:
1. You have to pick 5 blogs that you consider deserve this award for their creativity, design, interesting material, and also for contributing to the blogging community, no matter what language.
2. Each awardee has to have the name of the author and also a link to his or her blog to be visited by everyone.
3. Each award winner has to show the award and put the name and link to the blog that has given her or him the award itself.
4. Award-winner and the one who has given the prize have to show the link of “Arte y Pico” blog, so everyone will know the origin of this award: http://arteypico.blogspot.com/
5. Display these rules.
Now for the hard part. There are so many deserving blogs, that it is really hard for me to pick just 5. Lucky for me, many of them have already received this beautiful award. But, here goes. I am passing this award to:
From My Brown Eyed View: Ms. Lady Deborah brings it each and every post. She's always right on and tells it like it is. I'm sure she has no idea just how much I rely on her insight!
Black Women, Blow the Trumpet: What can I say about this blog by Lisa. Words are simply not adequate! You must take some time to visit and see for yourself. There you be enlightened, educated, and challenged!
Mind of Marcus: Marcus keeps me young at heart...and oh, what a wonderful sense of humor! Much obliged Marcus!
Hagar's Daughter: When my soul needs a lift, I can always count on HG to have a message just for me. She's definitely provided us with a place at the well!
Notes of This Native Son : Just found Cedric the other day. His is a very stirring and provocative blog.

Now it is my turn to share this award with five bloggers:
African American Politcal Pundit:AAPP was the first blogger that I made online contact with. He helped me to get this piece together. AAPP writes about politics and other social issues. He shakes it up!

A Slant Truth 2.0: I discovered this blog while checking out Afrospear. The Thin Black Duke provides readers with a variety of interesting topics. He also keeps us aware of the news that the MSM seems to intentionally ignore. You'll enjoy reading his blog.

Charocoal Ink: Aulelia gives her readers an idea of what life is like for a sistah in England. I enjoy reading her blog and learning what is happening in that part of the world from her perspective.

Texas Liberal: Provides readers with interesting posts on history and art and other Texas related topics. There is a lot going on and a lot to see. You'll enjoy learning something from this site.

Black Political Thought:Brings a conservative and balanced view of politics and other events going on her part of the world. She provides her readers with thought provoking posts.

I could of provided at least ten more blogs that I really enjoy reading. Some of my other faves already have Arte y Pico Awared posted on their sites.

Hi Msladydeborah: I did not realize that you had given me the award. Thank you so much and please accept my apology for the delay in saying thank you. I, too, enjoy reading your blog and I have learned a great deal from you. I will certainly pass this on to other great bloggers. Keep up the good work and continue to enlighten us with your wisdom and insight! As they say back home (Jamaica), nuff respect and one love!
