I just completed reading a post at Black Women Vote! that has made my temper go white hot with anger!
Another Dunbar Village style rape has occurred. This time the place is Philadelphia, PA. In fact there were two different incidents that occurred within blocks of each other. You can read the post on Black Women Vote! here.
If we are not going to help each other~we are all going to be victims in the end.
We cannot sit back and ignore the violence that occurs in our communities!
When we start standing up and speaking out and making it plain that we are not going to keep being victimized~that is when we will begin to see changes.
SISTAHS~WE HAVE TO STAND UP FOR ONE ANOTHER!
BROTHERS~WHERE ARE YOU AT ON THIS ISSUE?
COMMUNITY~THERE ARE THIEVES AND RAPISTS IN OUR MIDST! DO WE CONTINUE TO BE THEIR VICTIMS OR DO WE FIGHT BACK?

I don't believe that every male is out to harm us. But there are those who seem to feel that if they abuse us and harm us, no one cares what happens.
This type of story really gets next to me because the women who could help~do not! That is the insulting part of the injury!
