New England White by Stephen L. Carter
I just completed this story via audio book. I am recommending it to those of you who like a good conspiracy theory that involves black people as the designers of the action.
Do not let the title of the book throw you off. This is a story about affluent African Americans who are involved in an entanglement of affairs that can influence the election of the next president.
This is an murder mystery style plot. With a lot of different twists and turns. While I enjoyed listening to the story~I will agree with many of the reviewers who cite the story as longer than needed.
But don't let that stop you from jumping into this tale of the darker nation v the paler nation. It is a plot that politicos and who-done-it folks will like.
Check out your local library and see if they have a copy of New England White in the audio book section. It is worth the search and time invested in weaving your way through a story of black power and how it is used to serve the common good.
